James H. Dygert V., Esq., is an associate with The Loss Recovery Law Group. James represents Plaintiffs in residential and commercial property damages claims against insurance companies throughout the state of Florida. He also represents property owners in disputes against homeowner associations who seek recovery for damages stemming from the association’s acts or omissions.

James has obtained a substantial amount of experience litigating first-party property insurance disputes with The Loss Recovery Law Group. Whether the loss stems from hurricane, windstorm, plumbing, vandalism, fire, or otherwise, James passionately advocates on behalf of his clients to ensure that they obtain a just recovery for their claim.

James earned his Law Degree from Florida International University College of Law. During that time, he worked alongside the Miami-Dade County Director of Court Operations, assisting the Director with various research projects and drafting proposals to modify procedures related to service upon indigent litigants. Subsequently, James began working as a clerk for Jimenez, Hart, and Mazzitelli, L.L.P., where he gained valuable experience working alongside a skilled team of attorneys, to fight for the victims of car accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, property insurance disputes, attorney negligence, and breach of contract actions.

Before attending Florida International University College of Law, James earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida International University as well. 

James was born in Miami, Florida. James, when not in school, spent much of his youth and early adult life ranching, a passion of his. If he is not in the office, you can most likely find him with his family or on the ranch. Despite living in South Florida his whole life, James has a undying love for the Buffalo Bills. Go Bills!
